HTC has just launched its first eye-tracking headset called the Vive Pro Eye VR. The Vive Pro Eye VR uses Tobii technology and has a couple of eye-tracking functionalities that include precision eye tracking where users can create avatars for virtual interactions, simulate scenarios, capture feedback in real-time through heatmapping and gaze tracking, and also enable a gaze-oriented menu. First launched in China and Europe, the HTC Vive Pro Eye VR can now be purchased in the US and Canada with a price tag of USD 1,599 (~PHP 83,176). Today, HTC announced the release of the HTC Touch Pro in the Philippines, a smartphone explicitly catering to business and power users. Powered by Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional, the HTC Touch Pro supports quad-band GSM with HSDPA (up to 7.2Mbps), WiFi 802.11 b/g, a 2.8-inch touch screen display, full qwerty keyboard that slides out the back, a 3.2 MP camera (+ frontal facing VGA camera for 3G calls), FM radio and GPS.
