HUAWEI has officially launched the Mate 80 and Mate 80 Pro in China, alongside the new Mate 80 Pro Max. The two main models share several premium features, including a 6.75-inch OLED display with FHD+ resolution, 120Hz LTPO adaptive refresh rate, and support for over 1 billion colors.

Their cameras differ slightly. The Mate 80 comes with a 50MP super-zoom main camera, a 40MP ultra-wide lens, and a 12MP periscope telephoto camera. The Mate 80 Pro upgrades the setup with a 50MP ultra-focusing main shooter, a 40MP ultra-wide lens, and a 48MP macro telephoto camera. Both models support high-resolution video recording and advanced shooting features.
Inside, the Mate 80 runs on the Kirin 9020 chip, while the Mate 80 Pro uses either the Kirin 9030 or 9030 Pro, depending on the memory variant. Both devices run HarmonyOS 6.0 and offer multiple configurations, with the Pro model going up to 1TB of storage.
Each device carries a 5750mAh battery. The Mate 80 supports 66W wired and 50W wireless charging, while the Mate 80 Pro offers faster 100W wired and 80W wireless charging. Both are rated IP68/IP69 for dust and water resistance. Pricing in China starts at CNY 4,699 ( PHP 38,953.19 ) for the Mate 80 and CNY 5,999 ( PHP 49,729.77 ) for the Mate 80 Pro.
