Infinix announces Cheetah X1 chip, the charging game-changer

Infinix has just announced the Cheetah X1 chip today.

The Cheetah X1 is set to deliver FastCharge 2.0, which can reach 100W charging rates. This is inclusive of wired charging, wireless charging, etc.

The chip intends to optimize charging rates in the interest of protecting battery health span. Infinix has worked on methods of real-time monitoring, which balances charging speed and temperature maintenance to prolong cell life.

The Infinix Cheetah X1 chip will optimize the charging rates to protect the battery’s health. There will be real-time monitoring, ensuring a balance between speed and temperature, extending the life of the cell.

The company also mentions a safety guarantee by a 63-level safety shield. This module was made to protect devices against potential risks through automatic interventions and user alerts.

Additionally, Infinix noted they shrunk the Cheetah X1 chip to an ‘incredibly small’ size for quicker processing. The chip promises a performance increase, along with a lighter and more comfortable phone.
