Infinix has announced a strategic design partnership with Italian design studio Pininfarina to create a new line of premium smartphones, starting with the upcoming Infinix NOTE 60 Ultra. The announcement was made at Business of Design Week 2025 in Manila.

The partnership combines Pininfarina’s long history in luxury design with Infinix’s growing success in the smartphone market. Pininfarina has designed famous cars such as the Ferrari Testarossa and Alfa Romeo Spider, and is now bringing its design principles into mobile technology. The NOTE 60 Ultra will be the first phone developed under this collaboration and will introduce new design standards for future Infinix flagships.
Infinix continues to gain momentum in Southeast Asia, having recorded strong growth in Q2 2025 based on IDC’s mobile shipment tracker. The company says working with Pininfarina will help them move further into the premium category and improve overall product design.

According to Infinix CEO Tony Zhao, the partnership aims to strengthen the brand’s high-end design direction and support new flagship aesthetics starting with the NOTE 60 Series. Pininfarina Senior Vice President Fabio Calorio said the project allows the studio to apply Italian design values, focused on beauty, performance, and user experience, into smartphone development.
More information about the NOTE 60 Ultra’s design, features, and availability will be revealed soon.
