Infinix Unveils E-Color Shift, AirCharge and ExtremeTemp Battery Tech at CES 2024

Smartphone maker Infinix showcased some exciting new technologies at the showfloor of CES 2024 that could change how we use and customize our devices. Infinix unveiled its innovative E-Color Shift system, which allows the back panel of smartphones to transform colors without using any power – a real breakthrough. Here’s how it works.

Using interesting microstructure technology, E-Color Shift applies different voltages that cause color particles to move, displaying the desired hue. This means your phone’s exterior can magically change appearance without draining the battery.

Infinix says the technology will also enable up to 60 customizable areas on the back for unique expressions. You’ll be able to mix and match colors across the panel like a digital artist. Who knows, in the future we may see phones that can show images, textures or patterns on their shells.

E-Color Shift took home an award at the big tech show for its creativity. But Infinix wasn’t done wowing audiences. They also revealed AirCharge 15, a system that provides wireless power over longer distances than current tech.

Infinix also showed off a battery designed to withstand extreme cold, an issue for many phones. Its “Extreme-Temp Battery” works all the way down to a bone-chilling -40°C, so you’ll stay connected even in freezing conditions. This could be a lifesaver for outdoor workers or adventurers in icy climates.
