Instagram recently announced their new IGTV app for watching long-form, vertical video from your favorite Instagram creators.
IGTV is a standalone app and lets you watch videos in full-screen and vertical. You can watch videos from creators you already follow and others you might like, as well as browse other videos or search for a specific creator’s channel as you watch.
The cool part is that videos are not limited to one minute and can be an hour long. You can also like, comment and send videos to friends in Direct, as well as watch from within the Instagram app. In addition, you can upload your own IGTV videos in the app or on the web to start your own channel.
