vivo’s sub-brand, iQOO, unveils its latest fast-charging solution. Dubbed as the SuperFlash Charge, it claims to charge smartphones up to 120W.
The latest battery innovation from vivo rivals the upcoming OPPO 125W Super Flash Charge. Based on a report by Sparrows News, the former’s Ultra-Fast Charge battery can fully charge the smartphone in just 15 minutes. This is made possible through the custom chip which converts the current from 20V/3A to 10V/6A. It can be split into two equal circuits at 5A/12V which can equally charge two 2,000mAh cells or a total of 4,000mAh battery.
Smartphones that will house the Ultra-Fast Charge technology will be partnered with graphite layers and VC liquid cooling while the charging adapter will have intelligent temperature control for reducing heat and keeping it stable.
iQOO stated that it will debut in its upcoming smartphone slated to launch in August.
