Spotted: Laptop with 10th-gen Intel Core i7 down to ~Php30K

The monthly sale is drawing nearer, and we can’t help but to check for some goods among online shopping apps.

One interesting deal we found is a laptop equipped with a 10th-gen Intel Core i7 for just about Php 30,000.

Infinix Inbook X1 Pro Core I7 Fi (on Sale)

Particularly, the Infinix INbook X1 Pro which was released locally in December 2021.

It packs an Intel Core i7-1065G7 with Intel Iris Plus graphics, 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 512GB storage via M.2 SSD.

It was originally priced at Php 37,990, and now it’s down to Php 31,199 on Lazada, listed under Infinix’s official LazMall store.

Going over to Shopee, it’s even a hundred pesos less (Php 31,099).

Seems already a great value for the price, but there may be some caveats.

Upon looking at the reviews we have quite the revelation. On Lazada, its rating is 3.9 out of 5 stars.

From the seven 1-star reviews, three of them stated that they were frequently experiencing the BSOD (Blue Screen of Death).

While the rest of 1-star reviews said that the laptop is not turning on or charging anymore after a brief time of usage.

Interestingly, the reviews on Shopee are very much more positive with 4.7 rating. We still saw the same problems that Lazada peeps complained about, but the positive feedback this time is higher with over 203 people giving a 5-star over the 11 people who gave 1-star.

Thus, quoting one of the 1-star review from Lazada, the item is a “hit or miss”.

Infinix is no doubt, one of the competitive choices especially in smartphones. Though their laptop sounds promising, it boils down to real-world performance rather than its superficial attributes.

And the real people reviews help too. So, happy smart shopping to you.
