Lazada has just unveiled that it is bringing back its pick-up collection points delivery option. Lazada first did a trial run of this service last 2017 at SM Makati.
Instead of having their orders shipped, consumers may now select the Collection Point delivery option where they can pick up their orders in their chosen location. The option is available for items under Fashion, Health and Beauty, and Accessories. If the items in the user’s cart are eligible for the feature, there will be a ‘Collection Point’ banner in the Checkout screen. Pick up points will appear then, and these locations are all near the user’s default shipping location. Do note that all items eligible for collection point are only within the GMA area. Each collection area has its specific operating hours. Once the package has arrived at the collection point station, users will receive a one time password (OTP) via email, SMS, and the Lazada app.
To use the Collection Point feature, do the following steps:
- Shop Online
- Click on “Collection Point” card
- Collect the package using the OTP and tracking number sent via email, SMS, and the Lazada app.
