Lenovo has also unveiled its upcoming gaming laptop, the Legion Slim 7i, along with the Yoga 9i series.
The Lenovo Legion Slim 7i is equipped with an aerospace-grade aluminum chassis, up to 10th Gen Intel Core i9 HK-series processors, up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 with Max-Q Design graphics card, up to 32GB of LPDDR4 RAM, and up to 2TB of M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD. It is 17.9mm thick and weighs just 1.86kg, giving users more mobility.
In terms of display, it offers up to 15.6-inch 4K IPS VESA DisplayHDR 400 with 100% Adobe RGB color gamut, 60Hz refresh rate, and 600 nits of brightness. Its 15.6-inch FHD variant, on the other hand, offers up to 144Hz with 100 percent sRGB color gamut.Â
With the built-in Max-Q Dynamic Boost technology, the Lenovo Legion Slim 7i automatically enables real-time GPU and CPU power balancing, allowing your system to dynamically shift power from the CPU to the GPU during heavy-duty activities like gaming. Through intelligent assessment of the system’s power demand, higher frame rates and smoother gaming gets up to a 10% performance boost.
Both variants feature a fingerprint scanner and power button combo, Privacy Shutter in webcam, Lenovo Legion Coldfront 2.0 cooling system, DLSS 2.0 for improving frame rates, Advanced Optimus technology that allows users to manage system graphics by switching from integrated to discrete graphics and vice versa. This extends battery life for max frame rates when gaming on models with Full HD displays. Visuals are supported by Dolby Vision which delivers colors and highlights that are even brighter with darker blacks
The Lenovo Legion Slim 7i also comes with an enhanced TrueStrike keyboard which lets you enjoy all the benefits of a full-sized gaming keyboard in an ultra-slim chassis including 100% anti-ghosting, dedicated number pad, full-sized arrow keys, and a large glass trackpad. The keyboard can also be personalized with the Corsair iCUE RGB individual key illumination.
In terms of battery, the gaming laptop is packed with a 71WHr battery that can last up to 7.75 hours and supports Rapid Charge Pro fast charging.
Among other features include two Thunderbolt ports, Bluetooth 5, WiFi 6, pre-installed Lenovo Vantage, free one-year of Lenovo Legion Ultimate Support.Â
