LG Electronics (LG) introduces the new LG NeON H solar panel. As per LG, this solar panel is ideal for residential and commercial purposes.
According to the company, the latest advanced solar panel features the company’s N-type half-cut cells, delivers high power output, and comes backed by a 25-year warranty. It also offers carbon-free energy and long-lasting reliability in a package for enhanced performance compared to the previous model, as LG claims.
Furthermore, the LG NeON H solar panel utilizes negative N-Type cells with a -.33% degree Celsius temperature coefficient. The bifacial cell structure enables the cell to absorb sunlight from both the front and the panel’s rear side. LG states that the result of the output generated a maximum of 390W from its 120 cells while simultaneously minimizing power loss.
LG also mentioned that the energy solution could withstand harsh weather conditions and is also resistant to light-induced degradation.
“Our new NeON H solar panel is the most reliable and efficient renewable energy solution that LG has ever created,” said Kevin Kim, Vice President and Head of the Energy Business Unit of LG Electronics Business Solutions Company.
LG is dubbed as the world’s first manufacturer to operate in-house solar testing facilities certified by two major international inspection and certification bodies – UL and TÜV Rheinland. Their panels also met industry standard and guarantees that they operate at 90.6% of their original performance even after 25 years of continuous use.
