Microsoft has announced its latest all-in-one digital whiteboard for meetings and collaborative activities, the Microsoft Surface Hub 2S.
It features an 85-inch 4K+ resolution PixelSense Display and a quad-core 8th Gen Intel Core i5 processor. It has a larger screen in a smaller chassis, it has 45% smaller bezels, 20% thinner display, and overall 30% lighter in weight than its predecessor. It runs on either Windows 10 Pro or Windows 10 Enterprise to give the same features users enjoy on PC, including the taskbar, Start menu, and applications. Microsoft has also mentioned the Windows 10 Team 2020 update coming in the device in October. It addresses top customer requests and delivers newly added features to assist customers to configure, manage, and collaborate on their Surface Hub 2S devices.
Moreover, the device is powered with APC Charge Mobile Battery which the APC Charge lithium-ion battery system to enable true mobility. It allows users to continuously use the device even after unplugging. Microsoft also partners with Steelcase Roam to co-design a series of mount solutions such as wall mounts, a floor supported wall mount, and mobile stands. It is compatible with the Surface Hub 2 Pen and Surface Hub 2 camera.
Included in the Surface Hub 2S package are its accessories such as Surface Hub 2 camera and Surface Hub 2 pen.
Meanwhile, the 50-inch Surface Hub 2S will also be available in China later this year.
The Pre-sales reservations for Surface Hub 2S 85-inch has started in the United States but more markets to follow this year. However, its availability will begin in January 2021. Check out the official Microsoft website for more pre-sales registration details.
