Microsoft holding a Surface event on October 2

Looks like Microsoft is planning on unveiling their next surface device pretty soon. The company just sent out official invites to a Surface event in New York, that’s happening on October 2.

Rumor has it that there will be refreshes of current Surface devices as well as some new reveals. Apart from that nothing else was mentioned. It’s a little bit early this year though, as the event last year was around mid-October. Either way, we’ll keep our eyes out for possible new announcements once we get closer to the launch date.
