MMDA posts safety reminders for Pokemon Go players

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has posted on its Facebook page safety reminders for Pokemon Go players in the Philippines.

The MMDA basically reminds players to be mindful of their surroundings and avoid playing the game while crossing the road. Players are also encouraged to use designated pedestrian footbridges and be always on alert while walking.

The MMDA social media managers also joked in the comments that there are Pokemons in their office and admitted that some of them play the recently launched game.

I think Ingress still came before this and spans multiple countries but there never was a warning such as this. Played it in Sydney and here in Manila. didn’t have issues.
