MSI Debuts AI-Ready 2024 18-inch Stealth, Titan, Raider Gaming Laptops

MSI, unveiled a stunning array of new AI-powered machines at CES 2024. The lineup includes the Titan 18 HX and Raider 18 HX, MSI’s largest gaming laptops yet at a massive 18 inches. Both feature the latest and most powerful 14th Gen Intel HX-series processors and NVIDIA’s top-of-the-line GeForce RTX 40 series GPUs, providing mobile power that would otherwise be found only in desktops.

The Titan 18 HX especially stands out with its 270W total power output, enabled by MSI’s Overboost technology. This allows for extreme performance. It also boasts the world’s first seamless RGB haptic touchpad, a signature feature that enhances the user experience.

For mainstream users on a budget, MSI has expanded options like the Sword HX and Cyborg 15 AI. The latter, personally, catches my eye with its futuristic translucent chassis. The ultra-portable Prestige 16 AI and Prestige 13 AI Evo impress in this regard, featuring massive batteries.

A highlight of the new lineup is the Stealth 18 AI Studio, MSI’s first 18-inch laptop to be powered by Intel’s new Core Ultra processors with built-in AI acceleration. This allows advanced AI workflows to be run directly on the laptop without the need for cloud processing..

Under the hood, MSI’s new machines are equipped with the hardware truly needed to unleash AI’s full potential. Intel’s 14th Gen Core HX CPUs and Core Ultra CPUs with Neural Processing Units offer blazing speeds for AI tasks. NVIDIA’s RTX 40 series GPUs, with dedicated Tensor Cores and software like DLSS, accelerate AI workflows across games, creative apps and more.

To complement its AI-ready hardware, MSI is launching exclusive software like the AI Artist image generator and AI Noise Cancellation Pro. The AI Engine also automatically optimizes settings based on usage, ensuring an effortless experience.

Availability is expected to start in Q1 2024 for flagship 18-inch models like the Titan 18 HX and Raider 18 HX, followed by the Stealth 18 AI Studio in late Q1. High-performance gaming models and mainstream options will likely launch in mid-Q1 to Q2. Productivity and lower-end models may arrive from Q2 through Q3 2024, although schedules could change due to supply issues. MSI will provide official release dates closer to each product’s launch.
