Nintendo has announced their new handheld gaming console which is scheduled to launch in North America in July – the new Nintendo 2DS XL portable system.
The new 2DS XL sits between the 2DS and new 3DS XL. As the name suggests, visuals will be displayed in 2D only, but has the same large screen and packs the same power as the new 3DS XL. It has a built-in NFC for amiibo cards and figures and can play the massive library of quality Nintendo 3DS, New Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo DS games in 2D.
The 2DS XL is priced at $149.99 (~Php7,502.50) and will be available in black/turquoise color. It will launch on July 28, 2017, in North America along with two new game titles Hey! PIKMIN and Miitopia.
