Nokia’s next generation X device, the Nokia X6, begins its global journey starting from Hong Kong. It received quite the attention outside of China, where it first got released, prompting HMD Global to do a worldwide rollout.

According to a major Hong Kong publication, the report came from an inside source. The source also mentioned that the device will launch under a different name — Nokia 6.1 Plus. This will likely be the phone’s official global name for its worldwide release. Nothing will change except for the UI, which is now stock Android instead of the Chinese ROM.
