nubia has priced its new entry-level smartphone, the nubia V80 Max, in the Philippines ahead of its official launch, giving buyers an early look at what to expect from the device.

The nubia V80 Max is positioned as an affordable smartphone with a focus on a large display and long battery life. It features a 6.9-inch screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, offering smoother scrolling and motion when browsing or watching videos. The display can reach up to 780 nits of peak brightness, making it usable even in bright conditions.
For photography, the phone comes with a 50MP rear camera for everyday shots and a 16MP front camera for selfies and video calls. nubia also highlighted the phone’s up to 200 percent volume boost, aimed at users who want louder audio for media and calls.
Inside, the nubia V80 Max runs on an unspecified 1.8GHz octa-core processor, paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, which should be enough for basic apps, social media, and light multitasking.
Powering the device is a 6,000mAh battery, designed to last through long hours of use. It supports AI Night Charging to protect battery health, Bypass Charging for gaming while plugged in, and 10W reverse charging to power other devices.

The phone also includes several AI-based features, such as One-Swipe AI Memory, AI Scam Alert, AI Wallpaper, and AI Social Publisher. nubia has yet to announce the official release date and final pricing details.
