OnePlus has revealed the successor to the Buds Z, the OnePlus Buds Z2 with active noise-cancellation and other upgrades like longer battery life, USB-C charging, 11mm drivers, and transparency mode.
The Buds Z2 earbuds come with Bluetooth 5.2 support for AAC and SBC codecs. This also comes equipped with ANC that blocks out up to 40db of noise using three microphones on each earbud. A Transparency Mode is also available, which switches off the ANC when necessary so that users are aware of their surroundings. The earbuds are IP55 splash-proof while the case comes with is IPX4 rating.
The OnePlus Buds Z2 will come in two colors – black and white. These are said to reach 5 hours of non-stop playback with ANC or 7 hours with ANC with their built-in 40mAh battery on each bud. On the other hand, the charging case packs a 520 mAh cell that charges over USB-C.
The OnePlus Buds Z2 is priced at GBP 99.00 and comes in Obsidian Black and Pearl white and is available via the official OnePlus website.
