After the success of the Charity Photo Contest, OPPO and Bantay Kalikasan are partnering up to plant 1,200 trees at the La Mesa Watershed. The contest garnered a total of 106,146 entries.
The contest showcased a gallery of Philippine sceneries and culture taken by three local photographers using the OPPO F9 Jade Green. During the contest duration, OPPO stated that they will match every vote or share with a one-peso donation to Bantay Kalikasan’s cause.
A total of three hectares of trees will be planted, amounting to a PHP 200,000 worth of donation. OPPO employees shall be planting the trees, and the planted area will be named as the OPPO Forest.
“We are very grateful to everyone who voted, shared and supported our Charity Photo Competition,” said Jane Wan, OPPO Philippines’ VP for Marketing. “OPPO will continue its advocacy of preserving the environment,” Wan added.
The OPPO F9 Jade Green features a Waterdrop screen, VOOC Flash Charging, AI Battery Management, 16 MP + 2MP dual rear camera with picture modes such as AR stickers, Super Vivid, and slow motion. Pricing for the F9 Jade Green starts at PHP 17,990.
