Realme to launch in the Philippines

Listen to article

The Philippines has a new smartphone brand to watch out for, and it’s OPPO’s Realme sub-brand.

The imminent launch of the brand in the country was made evident with our surprise discovery of the brand’s local Facebook page, which was just created last August. According to the Facebook page itself, it now has dedicated pages for almost all countries in Southeast Asia including Myanmar, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia — countries where its mother brand OPPO has a strong presence.

We’ve also received an invite for what seems to be a launch of the brand across SouthEast Asia on October — and the introduction of their Realme 2 series of smartphones in the region. Is it a brand to look forward to? Stay tuned for our coverage.
