Razer officially announces their acquisition of Interhaptics. Interhaptics, a.k.a. Go Touch VR SAS, is a company well known for its haptic feedback products.

Razer has developed several products with Interhaptics in the past. Some products include the Nari Ultimate headphones in 2018, and even a haptic gaming chair called the Enki Pro Hypersense. After its announcement of its acquisition of Interhaptics, Razer states that the company would remain independent but would closely meld Razer’s ecosystem.

Interhaptics has developed for a wide range of gaming platforms like PCs, consoles, mobile devices, virtual reality, augmented reality, and mixed reality. One of its most well-known VR products is the Sense Glove, which simulates touch and interaction with virtual objects by giving physical feedback.
“At Razer, we know how important it is to create best-in-class products for a unique and personalized gaming experience because we are gamers ourselves,” said Alvin Cheung, Senior Vice President of Razer’s hardware business unit. “Interhaptics brings leading expertise in haptics and their development platform will be leveraged to expand the HyperSense ecosystem.”
Following the acquisition by Razer, Interhaptics Founder and CEO Eric Vezzoli will join Razer as Associate Director of Haptics. Interhaptics will remain an independent entity but will be closely integrated into the Razer ecosystem.
