After launching the GT Neo 5 back in February, Realme has now revealed the Neo 5 SE in China.
The GT Neo 5 SE looks similar to the GT Neo 5 from the outside apart from the small detail in the camera housing. Most of the changes are found under the hood, particularly the chipset, camera, and battery.
Like the GT Neo 5, the GT Neo 5 SE features a 6.74-inch AMOLED screen with 2772 x 1240 px resolution, slim bezels all around, and a 144Hz refresh rate. At the top of the screen is a pinhole cut out for the 16MP selfie camera. There’s also an under-screen fingerprint scanner.
Powering the GT Neo 5 SE is the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset with an Adreno 725 GPU, and it is available with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB internal storage. There’s a triple rear camera highlighted by a 64MP main lens together with an 8MP ultrawide and 2MP microscope lens. Software-wise, the smartphone runs on Realme UI 4.0 based on Android 13.
One of the biggest differences between the two phones is the battery and charging speed. The GT Neo 5 SE packs a larger 5,500mAh battery and features 100W fast charging. For comparison, the GT Neo 5 comes with a smaller 5,000mAh battery but has faster charging speeds of 150W.
There are two colors available for the GT Neo 5 SE – Final Fantasy (Blue) and Polar Black. Prices for the Realme GT Neo 5 SE start at CNY 2,099PHP 16,920USD 288INR 24,438EUR 275 for the 8GB+256GB variant, while the top-spec 16GB+1TB variant retails at CNY 2,799PHP 22,562USD 385INR 32,588EUR 366.
At the moment, Realme Philippines has not announced whether the GT Neo 5 SE will be available in the country. But do you think they should bring it into the country? Share your thoughts below.
