RedMagic 8 pro launches w/ Snapdragon 8 Gen 2

Nubia has just launched its newest gaming smartphone, the RedMagic 8 Pro.

Coming with the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, a massive 6.8-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, and a 6,000 mAh, the RedMagic 8 Pro has all the bells and whistles we expect from a top-of-the-line gaming smartphone.

Outside of the usual gaming specs, the RedMagic 8 Pro also comes with a unique “void” transparent color scheme that gives off a more industrial and futuristic look that we are eager to check out in person.

The RedMagic 8 Pro will also have a vapor chamber cooling system, air trigger buttons, and RGB lights, among other gamer-centered features.

In terms of pricing, the RedMagic 8 pro will start at USD $649 or around Php 35,000 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage variant.

It can be recalled that we had formerly reported a RedMagic 8 Pro sighting on Shopee earlier this month that came with a Php 89,000 price tag.

The much lower price is a welcome development, especially with the features that the RedMagic 8 Pro brings.

For availability, the RedMagic 8 Pro is going to be out worldwide starting February 2, 2023.
