Redmi 13 5G launched in India

The Redmi 13 5G has just been launched in India. At the time of writing, it’s currently available through Amazon and the country’s Xiaomi retail stores.

The newly-released smartphone has a 6.79-inch LCD with an FHD+ (2460 by 1080) resolution. It has a peak brightness of 550 nits and an adaptive refresh rate of 120Hz.

The display panel has a 91% screen-to-body ratio and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Additionally, the phone features a dual crystal glass design that’s 8.17mm thin and weighs 199 grams.

Under the hood, it has a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 Accelerated Edition chipset paired with an Adreno 613 GPU. This comes with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage expandable via microSD card.

Optics consist of a 108-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HM6 main sensor, a 2-megapixel macro lens, and a 13-megapixel shooter for selfies. For connectivity, the phone offers dual nano-SIM, 5G, dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, and GPS.

The Redmi 13 5G also packs a 5,030mAh battery with 33W of wired fast charging via USB Type-C. Other features include an IR sensor, 3.5mm audio port, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and an IP53 rating.
The Redmi 13 5G offers Black Diamond, Hawaiian Blue, and Moonstone Silver color options.

It’s currently priced for INR 13,999PHP 9,690USD 165EUR 157CNY 1,202 (~PHP 9USD 0.15INR 13EUR 0.15CNY 1.8K) with a configuration of 6GB/128GB. It’s also available for INR 15,499PHP 10,728USD 183EUR 174CNY 1,331 (~PHP 10USD 0.17INR 14EUR 0.16CNY 1.9K) with 8GB/128GB in the Indian market.
