Xiaomi has announced that Redmi has partnered with the Mercedes-AMG F1 team. Redmi will serve as the exclusive mobile phone partner of the brand.
Based on rumors, both companies will collaborate on a limited edition smartphone, specifically the Redmi K50. The Mercedes F1 version of the Redmi K50 is rumored to have the iconic scheme of Mercedes F1 cars, including a gray black panel with racing lines also found in the F1 cars. There will be a RGB strip integrated around the camera module as well.
The Redmi K50 gaming Edition is said to launch with a 6.67-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, as well as a triple rear camera setup headed by a 64MP Sony IMX 687 primary sensor. The device will be powered by a 4,700mAh battery with 120W fast charging.
