ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has launched the 2026 ROG Strix G16 and Strix G18 gaming laptops, featuring new Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus processors and up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 Laptop GPUs. The new models are designed for gaming, content creation, and daily heavy tasks.

The laptops come with upgraded displays and cooling systems to support high performance. The Strix G16 has a 2.5K 300Hz display, while the larger Strix G18 uses a 2.5K 240Hz display with Mini LED for better brightness and contrast. Both models include anti-reflection features for clearer viewing in different lighting conditions.

To keep performance stable, ASUS added a new cooling system with a tri-fan setup, vapor chamber, and improved heatsink design. This helps the laptops run longer without slowing down.

The new Strix models also have a redesigned body that allows users to open the laptop without tools. This makes it easier to upgrade parts like RAM and storage.

ASUS also confirmed that the ROG Strix SCAR 18 will launch in Q2 2026. It will offer higher performance with support for up to an RTX 5090 Laptop GPU.

The new lineup is part of ASUS’ push to offer updated hardware for gamers and creators.

Specs, features, and availability may change without prior notice and may vary by country. Actual performance can differ based on usage, apps, and environment. For full details, visit their website.
