ASUS has officially revealed the ROG Strix GS-BE7200, a new gaming-focused router built to take advantage of the latest WiFi 7 standard. It’s aimed at gamers and power users who want faster, more stable connections for online play and streaming.

The router runs on 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands, delivering combined wireless speeds of up to 7.2Gbps, thanks to WiFi 7 features like Multi-Link Operation and 4096-QAM. While it skips the 6GHz band, ASUS says its tuned antennas can still deliver up to 15% better long-range performance on 5GHz.
For wired setups, the GS-BE7200 packs five 2.5Gbps Ethernet ports, including two dedicated gaming ports that prioritize traffic for smoother gameplay. It also supports guest networks, IoT separation, VPNs, and ASUS AiProtection security.
Pricing and availability are still unannounced, but this router clearly targets serious gamers building a next-gen home network.
