Samsung has just revealed its next-generation Freestyle Gen 2 projector with Gaming Hub features that can project Full HD content at 1080p from 30 inches all the way up to 100 inches while having support for HDR10+.
It features a cradle stand to be able to rotate 180 degrees, giving you the best view whether on a wall or on the ceiling whilst laying down on the bed. It also has an Auto-Leveling feature to automatically adjust on the surface it’s projected on.
It also features a gaming hub that lets you stream content or play games using Samsung Game Hub with Xbox Game Pass, Nvidia GeForce NOW, Amazon LunaUtomik, Antstream Arcade, and Blacknut. The projector can also pair with various Bluetooth controllers
Moreover, it has 360-degree sound with 5W speakers and built-in support for Bixby and Amazon Alexa with far-field voice control for hands-free use. On its spec sheet, it is said to also support Wireless Dex, making it possible to use this as a giant monitor for productivity paired with a Samsung Galaxy device.
It’s also said to feature more memory for a snappier user experience. For I/O, the projector comes with only a Micro HDMI port and a single USB-C port for power.
The projector also comes with a Samsung SolarCell Remote that uses solar energy in the box. There are also accessories sold separately as a Freestyle Case, Battery Base, Skin, Cradle, and Socket Adapter to make using it seamlessly in your day-to-day life.
The Samsung Freestyle Gen 2 with Gaming Hub 35 is priced at USD 799PHP 46,890INR 67,715EUR 761CNY 5,815 in the USA.
Its availability and pricing have not been announced for the Philippines thus far but the first-generation Samsung Freestyle Projector 17 goes for an SRP of PHP 48,999USD 835INR 70,784EUR 795CNY 6,081 but is currently discounted at PHP 31,499USD 537INR 45,503EUR 511CNY 3,909 as of writing.
