Samsung has announced that the Galaxy AI features are coming to wireless earbuds.

The Galaxy AI features were a focal point upon the debut of the Galaxy S24 series. While Samsung noted that they intended to bring the features to older phones, they went ahead integrating them into earbuds.

The Galaxy Buds are only able to do so much with AI and as earbuds themselves. However, they should have the Live Translation feature.
This would allow users to make a phone call to another person who speaks in a different language. The Galaxy Buds would help translate the words of the speaker into the other person’s language through its built-in microphone.
This is pretty big news for Galaxy Buds users. The AI update would help alleviate them from difficult conversations with an existing language barrier. Users would speak into the microphone and have their words translated on screen.
Gone are the days of passing the phone to a person fluent enough to aid in communication efforts. However, the Galaxy S24’s AI features require a stable internet connection to function. It’s also intended for individuals in the Samsung ecosystem, so you’ll need the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy Buds.
The Galaxy AI features update is coming to the Galaxy Buds, Galaxy Buds 2, Galaxy Buds 2 Pro via an over-the-air update that should roll out within the next few days. It should also be noted that the Galaxy AI features will only be free until the end of 2025.
