Samsung reveals new music studio speakers

Listen to article

Samsung has introduced two new wireless speakers for 2026 that focus on design as much as sound, working with designer Erwan Bouroullec to create speakers that blend into modern homes instead of being hidden.

The new speakers are part of Samsung’s Music Studio line and will debut at CES 2026. Unlike past products such as The Frame TV or the Music Frame speaker, which hide technology behind artwork, these speakers are designed to stand out as decorative objects.

Samsung says the Music Studio speakers are inspired by simple shapes often seen in music and art. The smaller Music Studio 5 features a 4-inch woofer and dual tweeters with a built-in waveguide. Its round form is meant to look like a design piece rather than a traditional speaker.

The larger Music Studio 7 offers a 3.1.1-channel setup and can be used alone, as a stereo pair, or connected with other Samsung audio products using Q-Symphony. It supports high-resolution audio up to 24-bit/96kHz. Both speakers use AI Dynamic Bass Control to improve low-frequency sound.

Samsung has not yet shared pricing or release dates. However, the company’s recent work on audio tuning suggests the Music Studio speakers aim to balance visual appeal with sound quality.
