Samsung is set to unveil a new budget phone next week with the launch of the Galaxy F15. The new is expected to be available on February 22nd.
Leaks suggest the F15 will start at around $200 (~PHP 11k), putting it in the entry-mid phone category. It aims to give consumers a low-cost option for basic tasks like calls, texts and social media without sacrificing features.
The phone appears to borrow design elements from Samsung’s mid-range A-series and flagship S-series. Pictures show a rectangular body with slim bezels and a hole-punch display. It comes in at least two colors: black and blue.
Under the hood, the F15 packs a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ processor. It also includes 6GB of RAM.
The leaked specs list a 6.5-inch AMOLED screen with 90Hz refresh rate. At the back, a triple camera system.
Other notable features involve a large 6,000mAh battery. It supports 25W fast charging as well. Software promises four OS upgrades and five years of security updates too.
No words yet if this will also be available in the Philippines.
