Sony Electronics debuts the Sony LinkBuds that is designed with the use of a ring-shaped speaker driver to enable a captivating listening experience without the need to close out the listener’s surroundings.
Weighing approximately four grams, it is compact as well at 41.4 x 48.5 x 30.9 mm. Additionally, the Sony LinkBuds come with virtual assistance compatibility from Amazon and Google, volume control that adjusts to environment noise levels, a Speak To Chat function that stops the audio if the user is engaged in a conversation, as well as tap-based access to Spotify playlists.
Other features included IPX4 water resistance against sweat and splashes along with the compatibility with Microsoft Soundscape.
The earbuds are also equipped with Google’s Fast Pair feature which allows quick pairing with Android devices including the ability to easily track the LinkBuds with a smartphone.
Aside from all this, the Sony Linkbuds boasts up to 5.5 hours of battery life and a total of up to 17.5 hours with the charging case. Furthermore, the charging case has fast charging capabilities that allegedly gives 90-minutes of playback time with only 10 minutes of charge.
