Switch to a Smart Prepaid eSIM and retain your mobile number

Smart mobile users can now switch from physical SIM cards to the Smart Prepaid eSIM and retain their original mobile number.

For non-Smart postpaid customers, you can switch to a Smart Postpaid eSIM by getting your Unique Subscriber Code. Just contact your current network provider and submit your required documents to the nearest Smart Store in your area.

The Smart Prepaid eSIM is compatible with the latest flagship smartphones from Apple, HUAWEI, OPPO, and Samsung among others. However, we do recommend that users check if their devices are capable of eSIM connectivity.

Smart launched the first Prepaid eSIM in the Philippines last year in July 2023. Ever since, it has been made widely available to mobile users.
