Following its showcase of the new TCL 50-Series at CES 2024, TCL is officially introducing the TCL 50 XL 5G, one of three successors in the 40-Series line, to the American market.

It features 6.78-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD running at 120Hz refresh. It gets a 2.5D glass on top too. Under the hood is a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ configured with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.

As for cameras, it boasts a triple camera system with a 50-megapixel main camera that TCL also claims a macro sensor. Other lenses include an ultrawide and depth both having 2-megapixel count. Battery is rated at 5010mAh paired with 18W charging rate.

Price and availability

The TCL 50 XL 5G is now available for purchase in the United States (via T-Mobile), priced at USD 159.99 (~Php9.1K). No word yet on availability to other markets.

In the meantime, Filipino consumers can look forward to the TCL C655 QLED Pro TV launch on May 8th in the Philippines.
