Last month, we discussed the launch of the TECNO Camon 50 series. Now we finally have the pricing for the range-topping TECNO Camon 50 Ultra. Here’s a rundown of what you get and how much you’ll have to pay.
The TECNO Camon 50 line is a trio of devices meant to serve different price points. It starts with the vanilla Camon 50, then the 50 Pro, and finally the range-topping 50 Ultra – which is the focus of this piece.
The TECNO 50 Ultra is clearly positioned above the other two, with a 6.72-inch LTPO curved AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. Running the show is the Dimensity 7400 Ultimate chipset, a step above the standard 7400 in the Pro and the Helio/Dimensity options in the base.
All three devices are packing competent 50-megapixel Sony sensors for optics, but the Ultra has an additional 50-megapixel 3x periscope lens. This helps it have 100x SuperZoom with AI assistance versus 10x and 60x Digital on the base/Pro models. The 50-megapixel selfie shooter is also a welcome upgrade.
Lastly, the TECNO Camon 50 Ultra comes with an IP69K rating, which go a level above standard submersion via high-pressure water jets.
The TECNO Camon 50 Ultra’s 8/256GB variant will start at PHP 18,499. This is followed by the 12/256GB and 12/512GB, both at PHP 20,499 and PHP 23,999 respectively.
