Tesla has announced its latest model, the Cybertruck. Designed for utility and performance, the Cybertruck comes in three variants: Single Motor Rear-Wheel Drive, Dual Motor All-Wheel Drive, and Tri Motor All-Wheel Drive.
The Single Motor Cybertruck variant can go from 0 – 60mph in <6.5 seconds, has a rated range of 250+ miles, and a can tow more than 7,500 lbs, while the Dual Motor variant can go from 0 – 60 mph in 4.5 seconds, has a rated range of 300+ miles and can tow more than 10,000 lbs, and the Tri Motor Cybertruck variant can go from 0 – 60 mph in <2.9 seconds, has a rated range of 500+ miles, and can tow more than 14,000 lbs. All variants are built using 30X Cold-Rolled stainless steel for durability, with a total of 100 cubic feet of exterior lockable storage from the vault, frunk, and sail pillars.
The Single and Dual Motor variants will start production late 2021, while the Tri Motor variant will start production late 2022. The Tesla Cybertruck is priced as follows:
- Single Motor RWD – USD 39,900
- Dual Motor AWD – USD 49,900
- Tri Motor AWD – USD 69,900
The self-driving function can also be added for an additional USD 7,000. Upon configuring your Tesla Cybertruck, you will be charged a refundable fee of USD 100.
