The HONOR Magic 8 Pro is set to go global this month

Listen to article
HONOR is bringing its latest flagship to the global stage as the HONOR Magic 8 Pro is now officially teased for launch in Malaysia. The device made its debut in China last month alongside the standard Magic 8, both powered by the new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. The teaser confirms the Pro variant’s arrival, though it’s still unclear if the base Magic 8 will join the lineup. The Malaysian launch is expected sometime later this month.
Globally, the Magic 8 Pro is rumored to ship with a 6,720mAh battery, slightly smaller than the 7,200mAh unit in the Chinese version. It features a 6.71-inch LTPO OLED display with 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor. Other highlights include up to 16GB LPDDR5x RAM, 1TB UFS 4.0 storage, 120W wired and 80W wireless charging, and a triple-camera setup led by a 200MP Samsung HP9 sensor.

Pricing and color variants for global markets remain under wraps.
