The newest entry-level smartphone, vivo Y400 4G is now unveiled

vivo has just unveiled its latest entry-level smartphone, the vivo Y400 4G in Indonesia. Despite its budget positioning, the device brings a premium-looking design and rugged durability, boasting IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance.

Up front, it sports a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, full DCI-P3 coverage, and a blazing 1,800 nits peak brightness.

Under the hood is a Snapdragon 685 (6nm, 2.8GHz) paired with an Adreno 610 GPU. RAM and storage details are yet to be announced.

For photography, it features a 50MP Sony IMX852 main sensor and a 2MP depth camera. Powering the phone is a large 6,000mAh battery with 44W USB-C fast charging.

It runs on Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15, and comes in Purple Twilight and Tropical Green colorways. Pricing and availability are yet to be revealed.
