App Annie, a mobile data and analytics company has released their top mobile apps and games in the Philippines for 2021. Facebook still leads the way when it comes to app downloads, while Mobile Legends: Bang Bang is still the top downloaded game in the country.
For apps, Meta reigns supreme as Facebook and Facebook Messenger are the top downloaded apps, followed by Gcash in second, while CapCut and TikTok round out the top five. Interestingly, Facebook is also the top app when it comes to consumer spending, in second is the popular live streaming app Kumu, followed by BIGO LIVE, Google One, and GoodNovel.
For the top games in the Philippines, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang remains supreme as the number 1 downloaded game. Tongits Go comes in second, while ROBLOX, Call of Duty: Mobile, and Smash Colors 3D are also on the list. In terms of consumer spending, ML as it is more commonly known, is still number 1. Other apps in the list are Genshin Impact, ROBLOX, Call of Duty: Mobile, and Ragnarok M.
Google is still in first place when it comes to top app downloads as a company. Meta is in second, ByteDance is in third, while PLDT and Mynt round out the top 5 companies in terms of downloads. Consumers spent the most on Google One, followed by Facebook, Kumu, WeSing, and BIGO LIVE.
In terms of games, the top company with the most downloads is AppLovin, followed by Azur Interactive Games. OneSoft, ironSource, and SayGames are also on the list. For consumer spending, the top company is ByteDance led by Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. Following suit are miHoYo, Sea, Roblox, and FunPlus.
