Twitter pays verified users shared ad revenue

Twitter has started paying their verified subscribers a portion of the ad revenue from ads in the replies of their posts.

To be eligible to be a paid creator on Twitter, the user must be subscribe to Twitter Blue and have more than 5 million tweet impressions for the last three months each.

Twitter owner Elon Musk has stated that the first round of payouts is a total of USD 5 million. This will be cumulative from February onwards.

Journalist Brian Krassenstein has revealed that Twitter has paid him USD 24,305.

Twitter does not grant all their eligible Twitter Blue creators this paycheck. If there are users who create sexual content, violence, gambling, drugs, and the like, they will not be monetized.
