DXOMark has recently released its camera review for the vivo X70 Pro 5G (MediaTek) with an overall camera score of 131 points. It places 1st in Premium Ranking, followed by iPhone 13 and 13 mini (130 points). Moreover, it takes 12th place in Global Ranking.
The vivo X70 Pro 5G sports a 6.56-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset.
Like the flagship model X70 Pro+, the X70 Pro comes with a quad-camera that features a dual-tele setup and Zeiss-certified optics but the Plus model uses higher resolution sensors and/or faster apertures in some modules. It comes with 50MP (main), 12MP (ultrawide), 12MP (portrait) an 8MP (periscope) sensors. Upfront is a 32MP selfie camera.
With an overall camera score of 131, the vivo X70 Pro mingles among the best devices in DXOMark‘s camera ranking. In addition, it receives 139 points for Photo, 77 points for Zoom, and 111 points for Video.
“The X70 Pro is also among the best Premium devices for Video. Video footage usually has good exposure and nice color with accurate white balance, especially when recording in bright light. In addition the stabilization system works effectively, with only very little residual motion. In typical indoor conditions and in low light our testers saw some color casts, though, as well as a loss of detail and some autofocus instabilities.”
