Xiaomi has launched the Xiaomi 17 Ultra in global markets, expanding availability beyond Mainland China. The device recently debuted in Barcelona, Spain, marking the return of the Ultra lineup internationally.
The Xiaomi 17 Ultra highlights its Leica-developed camera system in partnership with Leica. It features a 50MP main camera with a 1-inch sensor and Leica Optical Summilux lens. A 200MP telephoto camera with a 1/1.4-inch sensor and adjustable aperture supports continuous optical zoom between 3.2x and 4.3x. The setup also includes a 50MP ultra-wide camera and a 50MP front camera. Video recording supports up to 8K at 30fps and 4K at up to 120fps.
Powering the device is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 3nm chipset, paired with 12GB or 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. It runs HyperOS 3 with cross-device compatibility features.
The phone sports a 6.9-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel supports HDR10+, Dolby Vision, DC dimming, and DCI-P3 wide color gamut.
Battery capacity is rated at 6,800mAh with support for 90W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. It also supports USB-C 3.2 Gen2 data transfer speeds and carries IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.
European pricing starts at EUR 1,499 for the 512GB variant. Philippine pricing and availability will be announced on March 2.
