Xiaomi has unveiled the Xiaomi 17 Ultra on Christmas Day, closing 2025 with a full flagship smartphone focused on camera, performance, and design.
The Xiaomi 17 Ultra continues the brand’s partnership with Leica, highlighting a strong camera system built for photography and video. It features a 50MP main camera using a 1-inch sensor and a new 200MP telephoto camera with adjustable aperture and continuous optical zoom. Xiaomi also adds Leica APO optical certification for improved image quality.

The phone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, paired with fast memory and storage options. It uses a large AMOLED display with a high refresh rate and supports multiple HDR formats for video viewing.
Despite having a slimmer body than previous Ultra models, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra includes a 6,800mAh silicon-carbon battery with fast wired and wireless charging. The device also carries triple IP ratings for dust and water resistance.

Xiaomi also announced a Leica Limited Edition version with a leather-textured back, special Leica branding, and a rotating camera ring inspired by Leica cameras. Availability and pricing were not announced.
