Xiaomi introduced a new audio product that, as expected, doesn’t come with an expensive price tag.

The Xiaomi Piston Fresh is a pair of in-ear headphones that was just launched in China, the company’s home turf. It sports an aluminum chamber and Xiaomi claims that it’ll fit the user’s ears perfectly and can be used for a long time without getting uncomfortable. It has a built-in microphone and control buttons for calls and volume that only works with Android devices.

The latest headphones will be available in Blue, Black, Pink, Purple, and Silver for CNY 29 in China or roughly Php210 before any additional charges.

Typical reviews likely do not take into consideration daily use of the product for 3 months. So even if the reviews are glowing, it probably does not factor the product’s durability. Caveat emptor.

Mi piston 2 ko tapos ni kuya 2 years na and strong pa rin binigay ko na nga sa barkda ko yung akin kasi nagpalit ako ng xiaomi piston pro yung may dual hybrid drivers na maga 6 months na …..durability mas matagal pa yan kesa a 1k na apple earpods na all plastic… and sir baka fakes yung nabibili mo madami fakes na mi pistons sa market eh …..

I’m using the Xiaomi piston v3 for about a year now. Sound quality is great, so is the built quality.

So far, Xiaomi has been great for consumers that are seeking for quality products for a lower price tag.

Search the net for reviews and you’ll be surprised on how reviewers rave about their products. Researching is key before purchasing. Not a fanboy, just a thankful consumer.

P.S. Don’t believe in people that are ignorant. Pinoy nga naman, daming reklamo, di naman pinipilit bumili.

Xiaomi earphones have good sound quality, however the build quality is just bad. I’ve had numerous sets fail on me in just 1-3 months. Hopefully these ones are better…?
