ZTE has just unveiled a new 3D tablet, the nubia Pad 3D, which they claim can provide a glasses-free 3D experience.
Showcasing the tablet at this year’s Mobile World Congress, the nubia Pad 3D comes with a 12.4-inch IPS LCD screen, a 120 Hz refresh rate, a 2560 x 1600 resolution, and a 16:10 aspect ratio.
The nubia Pad 3D’s display has a DLB layer from Leia Inc which brings with it Leia 3D Lightfield technology that is responsible for the nubia Pad’s 3D.
It uses two 8MP front-facing cameras as face trackers to make the glasses-free 3D viewing experience possible.
What makes the nubia Pad 3D special from other 3D devices out there is that it features a dual rear camera system, made up of two 16MP cameras, that can capture 3D images and videos.
