ASUS intros ROG G31 Edition 10 compact gaming desktop and ROG Avalon prototype

Along with the ROG GX800, ASUS also introduced the ROG G31 Edition 10 which the company claims as the world’s most powerful compact gaming desktop, and it’s prototype DIY PC called the ROG Avalon.

The ROG G31 Edition 10 was made to celebrate ROG’s 10th anniversary. It features a compact, 20-liter chassis with Mayan-inspired marking which can house an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080GPU with 2-way SLI, and a one-lick CPU overclocking.

Other features include a 3D vapor-chamber thermal technology with dual hidden-airflow channels and dedicated ESS audio DAC and amplifier headphone jack.

For those into DIY when it comes into building a gaming PC, ASUS also introduced a prototype device called the ROG Avalon which features a motherboard/chassis hybrid design.

What ASUS has done here is they took the motherboard and the case and made it into a single entity, rather than as two items in tandem. In addition, it features an SSD, PSU, and graphics-adapter boards so you can connect your PC components without the use of cables. Other features include a Z170 chipset-based motherboard with modular rear I/O for customized connectivity options.
