In order to play on-the-go, one must have a laptop that has specs beefy enough to be able to render the games you want to play.

Curious, but aren’t those laptops for “light” to “medium” (?) gaming at best? How about the Asus K401?

(Just based on my months-long research, my at-the-least choice will be the Asus K501LX. I’m waiting for the Dell Inspiron 15-7559, which Dell will offer sometime this month, before I finally decide.)

I wonder what criteria the author used to pick these three laptops.

Strictly specs-wise you can find laptops with up to Nvidia 940m graphics also for less than 35k.

None of these are gaming laptops. They are at best multimedia laptops. What distinguishes gaming laptops from multimedia laptops are the presence of a mid to high end mobile gpu (like the Nvidia 950m) and most importantly the presence of a custom built cooling system that keeps all this hardware cool. As I found out the hard way if you have awesome specs but terrible cooling your PC will stutter at high Temps.

Intel HD graphics? Bayad ba to? Ok lang kung bayad pero wag namang ipilet. naka 520mx lang ako na GPU sa laptop ko nalalaro ko kadamihan ng modern games at low settings kaya tanggap ko pa yung iba eh, pero Integrated GPU? Wow te, amazing!

Upgrade worth cash price 6k total of 30k it can do almost any game on 720p setting in Medium and High

Why SSD? just cause you wanna be as fast with the Apple Air and MacBook.

Cost Less and not prone to Theft :).

I’ll rather buy a tablet like around 5k and use the 30k to build a solid mid-range computer(by Philippine Standard) than to buy any of these if my focus is gaming

When I saw the Intel HD in there I was like “WTF?!?!”. This article should be relabeled as these are clearly not built for gaming. I don’t think the author knows what he’s talking about or he’s referring to CASUAL GAMING (FB games, etc.).
