5 Best Gaming Laptops Under Php35K

5 Best Gaming Laptops Under Php35K

In order to play on-the-go, one must have a laptop that has specs beefy enough to be able to render the games you want to play.

Although these portable computers are usually expensive, one doesn’t necessarily have to spend all their savings as there are some that aren’t that heavy on the pocket. Here are some of the best gaming laptops you can buy here in the Philippines without exceeding the Php35K mark.

Update: We revamped the list to a total of 5 laptops that could handle light to medium gaming and set the NVIDIA GeForce 940m as the starting parameter. Thank you all for the feedback.

Curious, but aren’t those laptops for “light” to “medium” (?) gaming at best? How about the Asus K401?

(Just based on my months-long research, my at-the-least choice will be the Asus K501LX. I’m waiting for the Dell Inspiron 15-7559, which Dell will offer sometime this month, before I finally decide.)

  2. Easy E says:

    Interestingly, no Lenovo is listed.

  3. Paul says:

I wonder what criteria the author used to pick these three laptops.

Strictly specs-wise you can find laptops with up to Nvidia 940m graphics also for less than 35k.

  4. Paul could you list some down for reference?

  5. Marc says:

None of these are gaming laptops. They are at best multimedia laptops. What distinguishes gaming laptops from multimedia laptops are the presence of a mid to high end mobile gpu (like the Nvidia 950m) and most importantly the presence of a custom built cooling system that keeps all this hardware cool. As I found out the hard way if you have awesome specs but terrible cooling your PC will stutter at high Temps.

    • Itchad says:

Under 35k price range? You can’t really find a laptop like that. Not counting the Toshiba listed, the other two can actually perform decently with games released before 2014.

    • hello says:

950m is not something you can find in a laptop under 35K – unless it’s secondhand, maybe

    • natz says:

      i agree.

  6. Mond says:

I’m expecting ASUS K455L to be in the list. Only at 30K, almost same specs with ASUS X55LJ-XX035H only with 14 inch display and 500GB HDD.

  7. Gaming Laptop??

    4gb ram?
    Intel HD 5500?

  8. Pare says:

    Research pa more, pare ko!

  9. Ronaldq says:

But sir Kevin, those are not gaming laptops!

  10. K555L vs X55LJ says:

Whats the difference between the two other than K is on Windows10 and X is on Windows8?
K is 37k on Lazada while X as stated is 33k

  11. Intel HD graphics? Bayad ba to?

  12. May fan ba ung ultrabook? dafuq? >.> super paid, sabagay at least nabayaran siya. Oras na para mag unsub sa yuga, ibang level na eh

  13. Rabbitkun says:

Wow, this is such a lame list, you could get laptops with nvidia 940m for 30k. Seriously intel hd? 920m & 820m? Saang bundok ka ba nakatira?

  14. Janice says:

These are NOT gaming laptops. Stop trying to mislead people who don’t know better.

  15. Aaron says:

    Acer E5-473G

    i3-5005u 2Ghz
    4GB RAM
    GTX 920M 2GB
    1TB HDD

26,999 On Lazada but go Shop in any mall with acer 24k

upgrade your ram 2 8gb then replace the HDD with Samsung SSD Evo 950 250GB

Upgrade worth cash price 6k total of 30k it can do almost any game on 720p setting in Medium and High

Why SSD? just cause you wanna be as fast with the Apple Air and MacBook.

Cost Less and not prone to Theft :).

    Just Saying.

  16. D says:

    Dell I7559 hands down

  17. teifwald says:

I’ll rather buy a tablet like around 5k and use the 30k to build a solid mid-range computer(by Philippine Standard) than to buy any of these if my focus is gaming

  18. When I saw the Intel HD in there I was like “WTF?!?!”. This article should be relabeled as these are clearly not built for gaming. I don’t think the author knows what he’s talking about or he’s referring to CASUAL GAMING (FB games, etc.).

  19. reality hurts says:

Gaming laptops are not for plebs – don’t force a 35K budget for one.You need 50K at least.

    • yep, real gaming laptops start at near 50k but on a 35k budget you can atleast get a decent 940m equipped ones. Those listed here are just so damn lame and cannot even be classified as a decent multimedia laptop.

  20. hhh says:

    Asus K555LB XX423T has 2 years global warranty. I heard asus has one k550jx i7 4750 /8g/1TB/GTX 950 4G/win 10 with 2 years warranty as well…could get around 45k….

  21. GG says:

Any recommendation on gaming laptop that 50k that is available in the philippines now.

  22. Squalalala says:

Lets say that these are “Entry” level gaming laptops that can play latest games in low to med settings at decent framerates..

  23. Renz says:

Saan po may Acer V3-575G-52GY na P34,000? Thanks

  24. meh says:

Look for GTX850m for almost the same price range. Way faster than a GT940m, and is pretty much the same maxwell architecture.

  25. technod says:

Can GTA V and Fallout 4 run in these laptops at medium or high graphics?

  26. djdelarosa25 says:

I’d suggest replacing the Aspire E5 with the ASUS K401LB because of the bad build quality and overheating as said on many reviews out there.

  27. natz says:

Dell i7559 is the best cheap gaming laptop to date. :)
