Apple’s newest Mac Studio is now available for purchase in their official website. It comes in both the new M2 Max and M2 Ultra chipsets.

Mac Studio M2 Chip

The Mac Studio M2 Max chipset comes with 12-cores CPU consisting of 8 cores for performance and 4 cores for efficiency. It also features a 30-core GPU and 16-core Neural Engine with 400GB/s per memory bandwidth.

The desktop computer has 32GB of memory that can be configured to up to 96GB (alongside an improved 38-core GPU). For storage, the base Mac Studio has 512GB SSD, but it can be configurable to up to 8TB.

The new Mac Studio comes with two USB-A connections, a 3.5mm headphone jack, one HDMI, four Thunderbolt 4 connectors, and four Thunderbolt 3 ports. It can support up to five displays.

With the Mac Studio M2 Ultra variant, the difference is that it is twice more efficient than the M2 Max chipset. 24-core CPU, 60-core GPU, 32-core Neural Engine, and 800GB/s memory bandwidth consist of the base version of the M2 Ultra.

This also applies for memory and storage: 64GB of unified memory and 1TB of SSD are in the base M2 Ultra version.

The Mac Studio M2 Max chip base variant has a price tag of PHP 129,990 while the M2 Ultra base version is priced at PHP 259,990.

Interested buyers can check out Apple’s official website to check out more configuration options.
