The Packard Bell EasyNote XS20 didn’t get much attention during the last quarter of of 2007. It was supposed to be a contender to the first generation 7″ Asus Eee PC.
What’s surprising that it didn’t seem to have dropped a cent since it came out — it’s still stuck at Php32,999. That’s about 3 times the current price of the rest in the 7-inch line-up.

Packard Bell EasyNote XS20

1.2GHz VIA C7-M

1GB RAM (up to 2GB)

0.3MP webcam
4-in-1 card reader
2 x USB 2.0
0.95kg
2.5 – 3.3 hours battery life

The specs are well within the range of the Astone UMPC, Deep Blue H1 and Asus Eee PC and we’ve all seen these dropped to a price range of Php10,000. I don’t think Packard Bell will be selling any of them EasyNotes at that number {via PC Corner}.
Update: Looks like PC Corner immediately changed the price of the Easynote to Php9,995 the day I blogged about this.

now with that great plunge in sale price, im re-considering this Packard Bell over Blue H1. Or shouldnt i?! Hope somebody can advise…
Also, I’m wondering, XS20 doesnt have a touch pad? Coz im not seeing in the inset pic.
